New Course

Aching? Stiff? Fatigued? Sitting too much? Navigating life after injury, stress, or childbirth?

Your body might be trying to get your attention and Conscious Movement is where we start listening.

This weekly class blends gentle, low-impact movement drawn from yoga, Pilates, tai chi, calisthenics and functional strength practices. You’ll also gain simple, empowering knowledge about how your body works: muscle function, joint health, posture, breath, and nervous system regulation. Expect a grounded, whole-person approach to building strength, restoring mobility, and moving with more ease.

Think of it as a weekly tune-up for your muscles, joints, and nervous system. This class aims at helping you feel stronger, steadier, and more connected to your body.

Absolutely no experience required. All ages, bodies, and levels of fitness are welcome.
Please note: participants should be able to sit and lie down on the ground, as well as stand comfortably for portions of the class.

This is a non-performative, judgment-free space so just come as you are.

Please bring your own mat.

About the Tutor

Becca is a qualified personal trainer, functional movement teacher, and producer at a local dance company. A long-time advocate for inclusive, strength-based fitness, she brings a unique blend of expertise to her classes—rooted in years of football and volleyball coaching, a degree in Sports Coaching, Exercise & Fitness, and extensive experience in somatic movement practices.

Her passion for Conscious Movement began through her own journey of rebuilding mental and physical wellbeing; discovering the power of practices like yoga, Pilates, and nervous system regulation after burnout and chronic pain. That journey led her to develop a compassionate, body-aware approach that now informs everything she teaches.

Becca previously worked at a movement-based mental health facility in the U.S., where she supported a wide range of individuals, from desk workers and busy parents to those navigating trauma, fatigue, or physical recovery.

Her mission is simple: to help people feel stronger, more capable, and more at home in their bodies no matter their background, fitness level, or experience.
