One of the biggest challenges in oil painting is to not over blend your colours when painting.
A way to overcome this is by knowing a bit of colour theory and learning how to incorporate that into your palette choice.
During this one day workshop, you will be looking at the importance of understanding the colour wheel, learning that there are warm and cool tones in every colour, that percentages of paint are a key factor and that with a very limited palette you can make any colour you wish.
In doing this you will be looking at the best colours to use for both portrait painting and landscape painting and come to realise what are the must have colours and what are not.
A materials list will be by The Crescent ahead of the Workshop.
