Wellbeing
Join dance and yoga tutor Helen to stretch and move the body through her chair based movement sessions.
Using movement from both Yoga and dance technique practices, Helen will guide you through gentle movements that will stretch and invigorate the body, release tension and increase flexibility.
By moving and stretching the body we can release tension in the muscles, and therefore increase wellbeing for both body and mind.
This course may be of interest to people who are mostly chair based in daily life; people who feel more comfortable exercising with the support of a chair; ‘office’ based workers who need activity to stretch out the body while at work, or anyone else who might be intrigued.
There will be 2 weekly classes lasting 30 minutes each. One will be a more stimulating session, and the other a more relaxation based session, using breath and movement to unwind the body and mind.
You can join Helen live for each of the two sessions or watch them back in your own time when it suits you best as each session will be available to re-watch throughout the week.
Classes will be accessed within a private Facebook group and will be live on a Tuesday morning at 10am and a Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
The sessions are bookable on a four-week basis and can be purchased by visiting the Facebook event page.
