Card Mosaic

This interactive live course will introduce you to the basics of mosaic and during this 4-week course you will make your own mosaic pieces and create a small art work with them.

Card mosaic is an art form in itself but it also forms a good base for learning the foundations of tile and crockery mosaic, which will be discussed at the end of the course.

Materials needed are minimal (card/paint/glue) and a list will be provided.

About the Tutor 

Beverley Healy is a freelance Artist with a BA Hons Fine Art; PgDip History of Art & Design.

She has been running workshops and classes in healthcare and community settings for over 25 years. This has incorporated working with craft media such as silk painting, mosaic, printmaking, collage and collaborating with other artists.

Her personal specialism is portraiture and imaginative painting, imbued with a distinct love of colour. She has won several National and International Awards and her work is held in public and private collections in Europe and America.

She recently published an art book on a personal theme of faith and promises and this has made its way around the world from Chile to Australia!
