Argentine Tango is a dance based on walking and improvisation. The music carries you through the movement and you build beautiful relationships with fellow dancers.

This short course is open to dancers of all levels.

Everyone will have the opportunity to learn both roles within this beautiful dance so come alone or with a partner.
If it is your first time trying Tango, welcome in. If you are a seasoned tanguero/a, come and allow yourself to experience the dance from another perspective.

About the tutor

Maeve McGreevy is a dancer who specialises in Argentine tango, Argentine folklore and contemporary techniques. She holds a first class BA (hons) in contemporary dance from London Contemporary Dance School and has developed a name for herself as a tango and folklore teacher and performer both locally and internationally.

She has trained and worked in England, Scotland, Italy, Poland, USA, Argentina and Ireland alongside partners including Tomás Corbalán, Slava Ivanov, Emilio Cornejo and Mariano Laplume. She brings aspects of all of these partnerships to her dance and classes.
