Applique Bird Pictures

Using small fabric scraps and simple stiches learn how to make a realistic rendition of a bird.

The fabrics are laid on top of each other and then fastened onto a background fabric and then embroidered details added.

Once you have made your first bird you can use this technique to make other birds.

All materials will be provided but please bring some small scissors to class. 

About the Tutor

Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.

As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.

She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.

A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.

She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
