This 8-week course is all about savouring the detail, taking time to stitch something that will give pleasure for years to come.
Based on a design by textile Artist Janine Pope, filled with Scandinavian Nisser (pixies) it has a lot of charm. Although on a festive theme it is subtle enough to be on display all year.
It is mostly hand stitched and therefore does take time and patience to complete. All the stitches will be taught.
Materials are provided but please bring some small scissors to class.
There will be no session on Tuesday 2nd June.
About the Tutor
Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.
As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.
She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.
A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.
She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
