This workshop aims to give you an Introduction to Lino Printing.
You will experiment with dry-point printing on polystyrene sheets and progress to lino printing.
You will create a design on paper and carve it out in the lino using a variety of cutting tools.
Have fun using printing ink and rollers to print your designs in various colours.
With this workshop you have the opportunity to learn various processes and then use your own ideas and creativity to create a range of prints.
About the tutor
Having graduated from the University of Ulster in 2004 with a Foundation in Art & Design and a BA (Hons)Fine & Applied Art, Louise continued to study and gained a PGCE (post -primary) in Art & Design from University of Ulster Coleraine.
She has taught art classes in secondary schools, community centres and in FE Colleges and has the experience of working with students of all ages and abilities.
Her has a keen interest in using a variety of arts and crafts and love to see students enjoy experimenting and finding new ways with materials.
