Altered Garments - Hand Stitched Embellishments

This is a class for those who would like to make their clothes more original and quirky. It is not dress making, but rather taking what you have and adding hand stitched details to give your clothes personality.

In these uncertain times it is good to be thrifty and use up what you have. The tutor will send you a video each week demonstrating different techniques and showing you an item that she has altered. You can then use this information to transform something of your own.

The tutor will be available to answer questions and help you with your projects. You will probably have a lot of the materials and tools you need already but may need to purchase one or two things. You can complete a garment each week or work to your own timetable. You may be inspired to do something for all your family members.
