This course is for those who have taken The Crescent's African Drumming Beginners course and are looking to hone their skills further.

You will continue to learn djembe technique, learn traditional rhythms, and increase your understanding of, and ability to ‘feel’ polyphonic rhythms. You will also experience the joy and connective power of playing drums with a group of people.

There will be drums provided, but if you have a djembe, bring it along.
