Painting
Refine your artistic voice in Abstract Painting.
This 12-week course is designed for experienced painters who want to take their abstract work to a more resolved and intentional level. Through in-depth analysis of influential abstract artists and focused studio practice, you'll work with key elements such as color, line, scale, and texture to expand your creative language.
The course is centred on developing your individual techniques, style, and artistic voice. A series of structured, progressive exercises are designed to challenge your habits, push you beyond your comfort zone, and inspire new ways of working. Using photographs, objects, and memory as starting points, you'll be encouraged to experiment boldly and refine your own visual identity while developing a consistent studio practice.
Ideal for intermediate to advanced painters seeking meaningful growth, creative risk-taking, and a deeper connection to their personal Abstract Expression.
A list of the recommended materials for this course will be made available ahead of the course commencing.
