Meet the tutor

Seána Catherine Tinley is a bestselling, award-winning novelist, with seventeen published novels as well as two novellas. She has won four major awards and been shortlisted for many more. Her books have won the Rita® Award for Best Historical Romance 2018, the RoNA Award for Best Historical Romance 2021, the HOLT Medallion 2021, and the RoNA Award for Best Historical Romance 2022.

In 2026 she was shortlisted for the Historical Novel Society First Chapters competition, and her Belfast-set book, The Irish Midwife, was shortlisted in the Romance Bestseller award at the RoNAs.
