Did you know… The area across the road from the Crescent Arts Centre that’s now Crescent Park was once home to tennis courts for the pupils of Victoria College, then housed in this building. Founder and headmistress Margaret Byers was a keen advocate for educating the body as well as the mind, and her curriculum included a variety of physical activities.
