Belfast Book Festival
Join The Society of Young Publishers (SYP) Ireland to talk all things books and learn more about their work.
From 1.00–2.00pm, all are welcome to a meeting of the SYP Ireland Book Club where they'll be chatting about Juno Loves Legs by Karl Geary, a story of friendship between misfits in 1980s Dublin.
Afterwards, members of the SYP committee will be available until 3.00pm for a drop-in session to swap your pre-loved books for new reads and answer any questions about the events and supports they offer for new and aspiring publishing professionals.
The team would love to meet you at Belfast Book Festival this year – please feel free to come with books to trade with other book lovers, or just to find out more about the work they do.
About SYP Ireland
The Irish branch of the Society of Young Publishers are a team of dedicated volunteers supporting junior and aspiring publishing professionals. Launched in 2016, SYP Ireland quickly established relationships with regional universities and groups to connect and support young and aspiring publishers. Their small but dynamic committee hosts a variety of events across the island, from publishing panels and socials to career and partnered events.
