Whether you have a completed novel which needs work, or you are simply interested in writing fiction for children aged 9 - 12 and teens/young adults, this course can help you take the next step in your writing journey.
Looking closely at successful young people novels, you will discuss topics such as audience, humour, language, themes, plotting and structure, and learn how to apply what you learn to your own work.
Throughout the term there will be an opportunity to share and critique work, and class themes can be flexible so that everyone’s needs are met.
