This 12-week course is suitable for those with some previous yoga experience.
You will practice a variety of seated and static postures as well as flowing sequences.
There will be an emphasis on correct alignment and working with the breath, combining physical movement and relaxation.
You will become familiar with a number of yoga poses and sequences and be encouraged to listen to your body to develop a mindful approach to your practice.
This course will not only help to build strength and flexibility but also promote relaxation and help to relieve stress.
Please bring your own mat.
About the Tutor
Valerie McCann has been practicing yoga since 2002 and completed her Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training (200 hrs) in December 2012 with David Curtis Yoga. She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and is a qualified in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
Valerie has been teaching regularly since 2013 and currently teaches in Maitri Studio, The Mount and The Crescent and she continues to update and develop her yoga practice by regularly attending classes and workshops with more experienced teachers.
