This Vinyasa Yoga Course is suitable for students who have some previous yoga experience.
The course will offer both flowing sequences and static poses which will help build strength and flexibility. The lessons will combine both physical movement and relaxation. Emphasis will be on correct alignment and being guided by your breath. You will be encouraged to work to your own level and to develop a mindful approach to your practice. Please bring your own mat.
About the Tutor
Valerie McCann has been practicing yoga since 2002 and completed her Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training (200 hrs) in December 2012 with David Curtis Yoga. She completed a further 100 hour advanced training in May 2020 and has completed a 30-hour Yin yoga training. Valerie is a qualified in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
She has been teaching regularly since 2013 and most recently taught in Maitri Studio, The Mount and previously in The Crescent. She continues to update and develop her yoga practice by regularly attending classes and workshops.
