This Vinyasa Flow Yoga course is suitable for those with some previous yoga experience.
During the course you will practice, flowing sequences, static and seated postures and each lesson will combine both physical movement and relaxation as well as an emphasis on correct alignment and working with the breath.
You will become familiar with a numbered of yoga poses and sequences and be encouraged to listen to your own body and to develop a mindful approach to your practice.
The course will not only help to build strength and flexibility but also help to relieve stress.
Please bring your own mat to lessons.
About the Tutor
Valerie McCann has been practicing yoga since 2002 and completed her Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training (200 hrs) in December 2012 with David Curtis Yoga. She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and is a qualified in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
Valerie has been teaching regularly since 2013 and currently teaches in Maitri Studio, The Mount and The Crescent and she continues to update and develop her yoga practice by regularly attending classes and workshops with more experienced teachers.
