Portuguese (European): Post-Beginners (A1)

This 8-week course is for those who have taken The Crescent’s Beginner Portuguese (European) course or who have a basic understanding of the language and would like to continue their journey.

New exciting topics will be covered this term with fresh, easy to master structures.

About the Tutor

Vítor Fernandes is the Instituto Camões Teacher of Portuguese at the universities Queen’s University Belfast and National University of Ireland, Maynooth since 2017.

He has a degree in Portuguese and English, and a specialisation in Anglo-American Studies, both completed at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto. He also has a master’s degree in Portuguese as a Second or Foreign Language, completed at Universidade do Minho, in Braga. An avid reader and runner, Vítor lives in Belfast, a city he now considers his own.
