Many writers find the experience of looking at works of art inspiring and relaxing.
This workshop explores the benefits of using art as a prompt for writing, stimulating the imagination and for achieving a state of calmness.
You will read some ekphrastic writing (literary responses to art) and reflect on the connections and differences between works of art and poetry.
By the end of this workshop, you will have looked at a range of images, discussed them with other group members, and written some responses to them.
