About the Tutor
Hélène is a native of Paris. She has an MA in English from Paris XII University, as well as an MA in teaching French as a Foreign Language from Grenoble University.
In 2006, she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice (PGCHEP) from the University of Ulster.
She began teaching French fifteen years ago in Coleraine University. She then taught her native language in a French school in London and at Alliance Française in Paris.
Since her move to Belfast six years ago, she has taught at Queen’s University, at Michelin PLC in Ballymena, and on a private basis.
Hélène is an active member of le Cercle Français de Belfast where she gives talks and takes part in cultural activities.
She is passionate about her job and her main goal is to help students build their confidence in communicating through French.
