The workshop is an introduction to making handmade paper.
No experience is required as you will be shown the techniques of the craft during the workshop.
Using traditional methods and skills you will make paper using various fabrics such as cotton, linen and wool as well as imbedding numerous materials such as seeds, flower petals, onion skins and plenty from the hedgerow.
You will also learn how to press and dry your paper.
Everyone will make several sheets of A5 paper which can be taken home.
This is an interesting and enjoyable workshop and a great way to learn a traditional craft skill.
