Painting
Still Life is the art of drawing and painting inanimate objects, fruit, flowers, food and everyday things.
During this 8-week course you will explore the endless possibilities of still life subject matter as you focus on colour, tone and composition through your own Still Life home set up.
This structured course will give you the skills and confidence to develop your understanding of observational and tonal drawing and moving onto painting in oil.
The first session will be a one hour pre-recorded video of the tutor talking you through the various ways to set up your own Still Life, bearing in mind this will be a sustained piece of work over a number of weeks.
The tutor will also discuss setting up your work areas and talk through the various materials you'll be using in the hope that everyone will be ready for our first interactive live session on Monday 11th May.
All Levels from Beginners to Improvers welcome.
