Nia Dance is a fusion exercise that blends dance arts, martial arts and healing arts.
Nia tones your body while transforming your mind. It empowers people of all shapes and sizes and is a holistic fitness practice addressing each aspect of your life - body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Lessons are taken barefoot to soul-stirring music and will offer a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core and the upper extremities. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear and emotionally balanced.
Nia is non-impact and adaptable to individual needs and abilities.
All fitness levels welcome and you do not need to be able to dance or be coordinated.
No class on the 25 October.
'We believe that every person can discover, explore, unleash and enhance their individual potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life - by engaging their senses and listening to their bodies. With the right tools and education, we can increase our confidence and happiness.' Debbie Rosas, creator of Nia
