Awaken your body and mind through dance with mindful movement.
Using words, music, imagery, and creative tasks the tutor will guide you through your journey by offering suggestions of ways of moving or focusing on the body.
You will be encouraged to respond and move in a way that suits your own style, body and ability and you will become more aware of your own movement abilities and at the same time stretch and strengthen both body and mind.
Each lesson will begin with gentle movement, building to more energetic explorations before it returns to calming the body and mind once again, finishing with a relaxation.
Wear layers of comfortable clothing that can be removed/added as required.
No class 25th October.
