We will embark on a wonderful journey through Italy and its poetry of the second part of the 20th century.
We will also focus on poets of the present century and discover contemporary Italian Poetry.
With the magical musical power of poetry, we will submerge ourselves in the sea of Italian words and their multiple meanings with an interactive and fun approach.
We will learn about Italian culture and what Italian poets tell us about it.
You will also have the chance to expand your vocabulary and learn idiomatic expressions in an easier way.

About the Tutor
Viviana Fiorentino is writer and hiker, in love with the nature of her land of origin she incarnates a passion for the places in which cultures meet and mix in a mosaic of diversity.
She did her PhD in 2008, then she moved to Berlin, a city where she has lived and did research at the University as post-doc. She continued travelling and moving across Europe, from Switzerland to Germany, England, then Belfast in September 2013, where she worked at Queen’s University as researcher and where she is still living.
In 2017, she left the academia to focus on the writing of novels. She is also curating her own poetry collections. One of these poetry collections has recently been awarded a poetry prize.
She is a collaborator of an italian LITblog and she is passionate about communicating and sharing her passion for literature with people who studies Italian as a second language and outside a strictly academic context.
