This workshop is a celebration of two powerful voices in modern Irish Theatre.
Marina Carr has become established as a prominent member of the modern canon while Conor McPherson has been described as 'the finest dramatist of his generation', for whom, 'no praise is too high'. His play,
The Weir is now a modern classic and Carr's By The Bog Of Cats is a devastating re-working of the Medea myth.
You will enjoy exploring plots, themes and characters, and workshopping scenes from these plays, both of which are darkly funny and deeply moving.
