This 12-week course combines aspects of abstract art-making with mindfulness techniques.
It is designed to give you space to play and experiment, encouraging a sense of trust and self-expression with creative processes of making art.
During the term you will explore a variety of process-based abstract art techniques, developing a self-awareness approach in developing a series of artworks.
About the Tutor
Katrina is a current PhD researcher in Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at University of Ulster.
Her background is in sculpture, lens-based media and process-based conceptual art.
Katrina has exhibited artwork nationally and internationally over the past 8 years and has been awarded from the Arts Council NI on numerous occasions.
She is also an ex-director of artist-led not-for-profit Catalyst Arts gallery based in Belfast city centre.
