Dance

Capoeira, which is also known as a “Dance for fighters and the Fight for Dancers”, is a Brazilian martial art that comprises acrobatic movements, kicks, self defence techniques and body flexibility.

Professor Feijaozinho (Adelson Maia) has been playing Capoeira since the age of seven.

With more than 20 years of experience in teaching capoeira for adults and children, his goal is to see the progression of Capoeira and its positive effects on the community and multicultural society.  

 

About the Tutor 

Professor Feijaozinho (Adelson Maia) has been playing Capoeira since the age of seven. It is not just his hobby, it is his way of being, his  life.

Professor Feijaozinho works with the vision 'Be the change you want to see in the world', trying to bring out the best in the society with the help of Capoeira.

He has been teaching Capoeira for adults and children for more than 20 years.

Having moved to Ireland in 2004, he has been giving Capoeira classes & workshops all across Ireland, establishing Capoeira Belfast club in 2007.
